Important Copperheads Season Dates

As we gear up for an exciting 2025 season, we want to ensure you have all the key dates and reminders in one place.

Upcoming Key Dates:

Spring Conditioning:

May 25: No Conditioning (Holiday Weekend)
June 1: Sunday Conditioning | 5–7 PM at Next Level Kidz
June 8: Final Day of Spring Conditioning | 5–7 PM at Next Level Kidz

Summer Camps:

June 3–4: Lineman Camp (sign up here) | 6–8 PM at Next Level Kidz
June 16–19: Copperhead Summer Camp (sign up here) | 6–8 PM at Catawba Ridge High School Track Field

Fall Season Milestones:

May 27: Registration Opens (Will be able to register on CarolinaCopperheads.org)
July 1: Registration Closes
July 7: First Week of Practice (Mon/Wed/Thurs)
July 14–19: Mandatory Daily Practice Week (to meet Pop Warner's 10-hour conditioning requirement)
July 15: Official Pop Warner Season Start
August 16: First Game Day (Saturdays thereafter, subject to Pop Warner scheduling)

NOTE: To help you best prepare for the registration process, you will need the following things to complete registration:

A photo of your athlete
A copy of their birth certificate (Only .png, .jpg, .pdf, .jpeg, .gif files allowed. Max file size 10MB)

During the registration process, you must accept the "2025 Youth Participant Medical History Form" and "2025-2026 Participant Contract and Parental Consent Form."

Equipment Info:

Helmet/pad fittings require a post-dated $250 deposit check (returned upon equipment return).
Uniform fittings will occur the week of July 14. Players will keep their jerseys at the end of the season.
All players will need to purchase black, fitted padded pants (recommend multiple pairs as your athlete will use them during multiple weekday practices and Saturday game days).

Volunteer Opportunities:

We rely on our Copperheads families to bring each season to life! We are still in need of:

8U Coaches (must pass a background check and complete USA Football Tackle Certification)
Cheer Coaches
Team Parents to assist with communication and game day logistics
Game Day Volunteers (Concessions, Spirit Wear, Chain Gang, Setup/Breakdown)

Other Notes:

All teams must have at least 16 registered players to compete in Pop Warner games.
Monthly Spirit Nights will be announced via email and social media.
