Choosing the right division for your player is an exciting first step in joining Union City American Little League (UCALL). Whether your child is swinging a bat for the first time or already knows their way around the diamond, UCALL has a place for everyone.
UCALL is a coed league, welcoming all players regardless of experience level or background. Our divisions are designed to match players by age, skill level and experience, so every child can learn, grow and have fun in a safe, supportive environment.
Tee Ball (Ages 4–6)

Tee Ball is all about fun and fundamentals. Players hit from a tee, learn basic fielding and base running, and get their first taste of teamwork. Practices are short, upbeat and focused on building confidence.
Focus: Learning baseball fundamentals in a fun, team-based environment.
Farm (Ages 6–8)

Farm is the next step up from Tee Ball. Players begin hitting coach-pitched balls and learn more advanced fielding and base awareness. Games are instructional, and coaches are still on the field to guide players.
Focus: Building confidence and introducing coach-pitched play.
Minor Division (Ages 8–10)

The Minor Division introduces player pitching and more competitive play while keeping the focus on development. Players refine their skills, learn game strategy and gain experience in different positions.
Focus: Developing pitching, fielding and teamwork skills.
Major Division (Ages 10–12)

Majors represent the classic Little League experience. Players pitch, hit and field at a higher level of competition, with full game rules and standings. Teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership are key parts of the season.
Focus: Advancing game knowledge and leadership in a full Little League experience.
Intermediate, Junior and Senior Divisions (Ages 13–16)

Older players transition to larger fields and regulation baseball dimensions. These divisions prepare players for high school-level competition while keeping the same community and sportsmanship values that define UCALL.
Focus: Preparing for high school–style play while staying connected to the community.
