• Eligibility: In general, any player born between May 2012 thru April 2013 is eligible by age, it is not strictly a grade-based program. The only restriction a player born prior to May 1st, 2012, is not age eligible. 
•  Tryout: (more detail to be provided as we get closer to the date)
•  When: Sunday, 10/19, 1 pm - 4 pm
•  Where: Lakeridge High School Varsity field
•  Structure: Lakeridge High School coaches will run the tryout, evaluate the players, and make recommendations to the Board on team formation. 

Please note that the high school coaching staff would like to keep the tryout closed. The goal is to make the sessions feel as much like a normal practice as possible so that the players can relax, do their best, and enjoy playing baseball with each other. 

Roster: 11-12 players

Season:
Winter: Dec-Feb: Flexible training sessions
Spring/Summer: March - July: Full practice and tournament and game play
2-3 practices per week
6-9 tournaments; some tournaments may be replaced with round robins and/or single games. Includes potential post season play in the Northern Oregon Babe Ruth State and Regional tournaments
Play rules: 60’ pitching mound, 90’ bases. Leadoffs, balks, full baseball rules

Cost: $1,250 - $1,500 per player. This covers uniforms, team gear, tournament costs, insurance, umpires, and facility costs.

**Note that any player that does not make the 13U Select team will have the option to play in our Senior Ball program. This program is for all 7th and 8th graders that want to play baseball in our league. Senior Ball is a no cut program that plays in the Clackamas County JBO league.
