GAME SCHEDULE

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

We are looking forward to a full set of home games this upcoming weekend!   Our flag teams will have a scrimmage, while our tackle and cheer teams will host Grafton and Worcester -- all happening right in our own back yard at Tyngsboro High School's famous Pierce Field!

Game Time: 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Grade K-3 Flag Scrimmages

Game Time: 11:30 a.m. - 5th Grade Tackle vs. Grafton 5th Grade

Game Time: 1:00 p.m. - 7th Grade Tackle vs. Worcester 7th Grade

NOTE:  These are NOT team arrival times - please watch for emails or SIPlay/TeamWall posts from your head coaches or team moms that will let you know exactly when you need to come to the field for warm-ups.

We will have all cheer teams at the field as well this upcoming weekend - so in addition to cheering on our football players, please show some love for our amazing and talented cheerleaders as well!

We will have full concessions available.  We ask that only rostered coaches, football players, and cheerleaders are on/near the field.  All others must remain behind the fenced area in the stands.  NO DOGS allowed at Pierce Field.

We will have our amazing 50/50 raffle -- this past weekend's 5th grade game had a winner walk away with a whopping $181!   You too can be a big winner -- take a chance and support our programs!

TYFC ANNOUNCES OUR FIRST 21+ PAINT NITE FUNDRAISER

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2017 – 7:00-9:00 p.m.

PRINCETON STATION, CHELMSFORD

We are excited to announce that based on parent feedback we have set up a 21+ Paint Nite in partnership with Paint Nite Boston to be held at the Princeton Station Restaurant in Chelmsford on Wednesday, September 27.    

PLEASE HELP US SELL OUT THIS EVENT -- WE HAVE ONLY 12 TICKETS LEFT TO GO!

TYFC uses net proceeds raised from events like these to support the funding of scholarships for high school seniors who were past participants/demonstrators of our organization and who are continuing to higher education.   This past June we were proud to recognize 8 deserving class of 2017 seniors with scholarships from these funds.   

The painting of the evening was chosen by Facebook vote and will be the Beach Sunset scene (below).

PICTURE DAY FOR ALL FLAG, TACKLE, AND CHEER PARTICIPANTS

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17

At our upcoming home game series on Sunday, September 17, we are planning to have George Bartlett Photography join us for our annual football and cheerleading pictures.  All football players and cheerleaders and the coaches will be photographed for team pictures (regardless of whether or not you choose to purchase individual or team pictures).   We ask that everyone be dressed in their uniforms -- pictures will be taken before any games and sweat is rendered.  Times will be announced next week for each team.

Please refer to the attached ORDER FORM in preparation for the day.  Payment can be submitted that day.

REGISTRATION FOR U18 CHEERLEADING EXTENDED

OPEN NOW THROUGH SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

Due to strong demand for our U18 cheer program, we are extending registration now through Sunday, September 10.  There will be no registrations accepted after this date.   Our U18 program welcomes cheerleaders who are in high school ages 14 through 18.  Cheerleaders who are already cheering on competition teams are not eligible for this program.

CALENDAR RAFFLE TICKETS - COMING THIS WEEKEND!

DRAWINGS TAKE PLACE OCTOBER 1 - 31, 2017

As part of your registration, we ask that you help support our annual program fundraiser.  This year we are re-launching our highly successful calendar raffle.  Each participant is asked to sell only 3 tickets for each participant.  The funds we raise from these calendar raffles provide much needed funds to support our annual operational costs.

SALES CHALLENGE:  We are offering a $50 gift card to each participant who sells more than 13 tickets (to recognize TYFC's LUCKY 13th season)!

Please watch for your team moms to distribute these tickets to each family. Note that as part of the operation of this raffle we are required to document and audit the ticket distributions, sales, and winnings.  Thank you for all of your support!
