Players of all ages and skill levels can benefit from futsal training

While the game of futsal is technically a different sport than soccer, our goals for futsal players translate well to the full sided game.

Our goals for all players:

• Improve foot skills and comfort with the ball in all situations
• Encourage player creativity
• Make quick decisions 
• Improve and increase movement off the ball
• Transition from offense to defense, and defense to offense, quickly
• Improve overall speed of play

Our goals for the most competitive players:

• Develop players for the USYF (US Youth Futsal) Regional ID Camp, to compete on the National, Futsal team.
• Develop teams to compete at regional USYF tournaments

(USYF is generally preferred for regionals because the tournaments are closer to Pittsburgh.)

Who should sign up for Dragons Futsal?

The short answer – anyone who wants to get better at futsal and soccer!

If you want to train and be part of a team, we have that for you.  If you only want to train and play with your own team, that works for us too.

We may also put teams in tournaments, with roster decisions at coach's discretion. 

Dragons Futsal would like to develop championship quality teams when the opportunities present themselves.  However, we are not going to only cater to the best of the best.  We think ALL players should play futsal to improve their game, regardless of skill level, and will do everything we can to provide avenues for everyone to play.
