2017 Annual General Meeting

FGYSL has been in operation since the 1970's. We were incorporated in 1998, and since that time have on occasion made changes to the League Constitution and Bylaws. It has been nearly a decade since the last updates were made and a lot has happened in the world of soccer and in our community since 2009, when these documents were last updated. The FGYSL Board is making proposals to change the Constitution and Bylaws. The changes involve the managements structure of the league, namely creating Age Group Commissioners who can handle all scheduling and communications with coaches. By having direct communication with the person responsible for scheduling and that group's playing fields, we can make communication quicker and more effective. In addition, we would re-establish an Under 14 playing group, Director of Coaching, combine the Secretary and Registrar positions, and finally, make the Vice President position the President Elect, so that in the future administration transition runs more smoothly.
