2019 Parent Clinic - Mandatory on Saturday, June 8

Bronco Nation,

The 2019 season is upon us, and the Board and Coaches are already working hard to make this year great for our players and cheerleaders. As usual, we are holding a MANDATORY Parent and Coaches Clinic this season like in seasons past. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, June 8th from 9-12 noon for the Coaches Clinic and 1-3pm for the Parents Clinic. Every coach, at least 1 parent / guardian per family, and every player must attend, regardless if you are a rookie or veteran. If you do not attend you will not be able to coach, and your son will not be able to play. Our clinics are critical to optimizing everyone’s experience this fall.

Location: Marin Catholic Gym, 675 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Greenbrae, CA 94904
Coaches Clinic: 9:00am - 12 noon (refreshments provided)
Parent Orientation: 1-3pm (refreshments provided)

Like previous clinics, these sessions we will prepare you for the 2019 season by providing you with our 2019 Head Safety Policy and introduce you to your coaches!

New for 2019!
The Broncos were invited to participate in the California Youth Football Alliance (CAUFA) 2019 Prototypical Football Team of the Future program, and we accepted. You can learn more about the Alliance at www.cayfa.org. As such, we are implementing the following initiatives at a minimum:

-We are conducting health and safety (e.g. concussion) education as mandated by state law for all youth sports.
-We are implementing a software platform for all parents, coaches, and administrators called AMP, or the Alliance Management Platform. This platform is where you will access your health and safety education and manage all injuries and return to play protocols.
-We are looking for Mom's who want to participate in the #AllianceMoms community where you will have a chance to conduct game day events through the season and serve as a liaison between the Broncos and the CAYFA. We need at least 1 Mom to play the lead role for the Broncos and one Mom per team as well. Please email me to volunteer.
-We expect additional enhanced services for 2019, and will share them with you at the clinic.

Finally, our rosters are not final yet because of the possible change to the Pop Warner age/weight matrix. I hope to learn more this coming week at the League meeting. I will send an update when I do.Thanks for all your support.

Go Broncos!
