PAAL Finds New Home at Avery Street Recreation Center

The Garner Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is excited to be partnering with the Garner Police Athletics/Activities League (Garner PAAL) to foster positive relationships between area youth and police.

The partnership will provide PAAL with office and meeting space in the center as well as their logo on Town issued jerseys in return for funding and volunteer assistance to enhance the existing youth basketball league. Garner police officers and PAAL members will take active roles in coaching and mentoring players to develop strong positive attitudes on the court and off.
