Getting Started

Welcome to the Tradition of Excellence 

Thank you for your interest in the Champlin Park Boy's Soccer Program.  This is a brief synopsis of the process of getting your son involved with our program.  Other helpful items are the Important Dates 2020 and the Calendar.

Champlin Park Boy's Soccer Summer Camp (July 27th-31st, August 3rd-7th form 9:00-11:00am)

Receive Professional training to improve skills and better understand systems of play while preparing to be ready to meet the demands of High School soccer.  For more information click here.   To register click Register on the top right to create an account or click Login if you already have an account.  

Get your Fundraising Cards (Available during the CPHS Summer Camp, Get them sold  before the season begins)

Get cards over the summer and sell them before other sports canvas all of Champlin in mid August.  Each play must sell 10 cards, those going on the Varsity/JV Annual Trip must sell 15.

Register for CPHS Boy's Soccer (August 4th registration opens)

Your son must  be registered, pay the activity fee, have an unexpired physical on file with the school before being allowed to participate.  Register in person at the athletic office or online by clicking here.

Captains Practice (August 9th-13th)

All player looking to play fall soccer at Champlin Park are welcome.

Fall Sports Parent/Player Meeting (Tuesday, August 10th @ 7:00pm in the CPHS auditorium)

Get information about athletics at CPHS and there will be an informational meeting about Champlin Park Boy's Soccer for parents/players new to our program.  Also get your fundraising cards if you have not already done so.

Tryouts (August 16th-19th from 9:00am-11:00 am) All Sessions are Mandatory

Requirements:  All players must be registered, pay activity fee and have an unexpired physical on file with the school before beginning allowed to participate.  All players also need NOCSAE approved shin guards (appropriate size and height must be marked on the front of the guard), soccer socks, soccer shorts, water and soccer cleats.

Missing any of the Tryouts:
  We can NOT hold spots for players that are not at all tryouts.  If your son misses any of the tryouts, provide we have space, he will be placed on the lowest available team.  The coach of that team will evaluate him and let him know if he will stay on that team, move up, or be cut.   If we have an open spot and he is allowed to stay that player must make-up everything he missed and complete five full practices before being allowed to play in their first game.

8th Graders

8th graders can not play at Champlin Park High School, this is an Anoka/Hennepin School District policy.

Program Wide Mandatory Team Meetings/Picnic (Monday, August 24th @ 5:30pm in the Jackson Middle School Gym)

Meet the coaching staff, boosters, the rest of your son's team and get the information you need for the rest of the season.  Pay booster fee, get socks and uniform.  Pizza will be provided.  Please bring the following item according to your last name:
A-G: Case of Water
H-M: Fruit or Chips 
N-S: Cookies (Must be purchased, not made) 
T-Z: Plates and Napkins

Booster Fees

Due at the Mandatory Team Meeting/Picnic.  Boosters fees are $100.  Will be collected on Monday August 23rd when team uniforms are distributed. The Champlin Park High School Boy's Soccer Booster Club is a group of volunteers who work together to provide the environment for success for all boys in our program.  With out fundraising cards and booster fees we would not be able to provide, tryout shirts, supplemental training equipment, assistant coaches, Duluth trip, MNUFC game, senior night, the banquet or any other opportunities to do team building events.
