Upon review of the recommendations from the PA Department of Education, the Department of Health,
and in the interest of the health and safety of our student athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families,
the following modifications have been made regarding CYO activities for the Fall 2020 season:

CYO Golf may proceed for the fall season.

CYO Soccer may proceed at the community league level with adherence to the health & safety protocols provided by the league.

CYO Cross Country for grades 5-8 may proceed at theDistrict level only, with practices beginning Sept. 15th 
and meets beginning Oct. 1st. There will be no diocesan events for the Fall 2020 Cross Country season.
CYO Cross Country for  grades K-4 may proceed at theParish level only. All CYO Cross Country events must be conducted in a manner
that adheres to the 250 maximum attendance for outdoor events.

CYO Volleyball will be postponed to Spring 2021 with a start date of March 15th.

Regarding CYO Basketball, it is at this time the intention of the Diocese to open
the season with a postponed date, beginning Dec. 1stfor team organization, and Jan. 1stfor games.
 However, this is subject to change as we continue to monitor the situation.
