Fall/Winter Indoor Sports Cancelled

Dear SJW CYO Basketball and Cheer Teams,

After thorough discussion and consideration with our pastor, principal and diocese and out of an abundance of caution, CYO Winter Sports will be cancelled. (includes basketball and cheer at all levels) This also means that the SJW Gym will be closed for CYO and sports activities.

All at the diocese, parish and school appreciate how disappointing this may be; yet, we are trying to contain the spread of the Corona Virus and put the health of our athletes, parents and coaches first. Indoor sports pose more challenges and risks for exposure than outdoor.

This will be reconsidered in the Spring of 2021.
