Food, Family and Friends highlight the Night at The Races

More than 200 people crammed into the Greenwood Hose Co. on Feb. 3 to enjoy good food, enjoy an evening with friends and take a chance on their favorite horses.
The annual Night at the Races is the Moosic Redwing's biggest fundraiser each year and has become a community tradition.
The executive board appreciates how much the community supports our girls.
"We would like to thank everyone who makes this fundraiser a huge success that it has been for our girls over the years," said Redwings President Tony Blasi.
The number of local restaurants and businesses who donate food and gift certificates is impressive: Al's Lounge, Akita, Amadeo's, Arcaro & Genell's, Anthony, Berlews Original Hoagies, The Backroad Pub & Eatery, Cafe Rinaldi, Cusumano, Dino & Franceso's, Diskins, Grande Pizza & Family Restaurant, Ice Creamer's, Jitty Joe's Ice Cream, Jersey Mike's, Kelly's Pub & Eatery, Lynn Sandy's Bakery, Minooka Pastry Shop, Montage Mountain, Nibbs Coffee Company, Nonno's Pizza and Family Restaurant, O'Malley's Irish Pub, The Penalty Box, the RailRiders, Revello's, Shaffer's Pub & Eatery, The Taylor Deli, Talerico Winery, Terry's Diner, The Original Pizza on Drinker, and the Union Craft House.
That's 32 businesses supporting our girls!
The Redwings are already getting ready for next year's event, which will no doubt be even more successful.
