• Focus on Skill Development
• Skill level increases and strategy is now being introduced
• Player Pitch
• Controlled games to increase the players understanding of the rules of the game
  
• Base stealing is allowed
• Assessments are made and some 8 year olds or 11 year olds may be part of this league depending on their skill level or special needs. These determinations are made by FFWLL board and coaches in the best interest of both and the teams.

• All Star Tournament Eligibility (minimum playing rules and age restrictions apply).
• Season starts in Late April and ends the 2nd week of June
• Kids will have 2-3 Events (Practices/games)  per week including Saturdays

• For the 2023 FFWLL Season FFWLL will be following the Little League International draft option 1 (Plan A). Returning managers will start their team their player, the players they had the previous season and the their assistant coach's players. Once the number of players are determined for the returning managers team then the remaining teams that have new managers get to draft from the remaining players until they have the same amount of players as the other teams. From there the teams continue the draft process until all the other players are selected.

• Strategy is integral to the game
• Player Pitch
• Base Stealing is allowed & Dropped third strike rule applies
  
• No "5-run" rule
• Play is much faster
• 12 year olds are offered a spot on a Majors Team
• Assessments are required for 11 year olds and 10 year olds. They may be part of this league depending on their skill level or special needs. These determinations are made by the FFWLL board and coaches in the best interest of both child and the teams.
