MAC Announces Spring Sportsmanship Teams

ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) has named 162 student-athletes to its Spring MAC Sportsmanship Teams. The teams include one student-athlete from each institution for each sport, including baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's outdoor track & field, softball, men's and women's tennis and men's volleyball.

Messiah's representatives on the spring sportsmanship teams are:

Baseball - Josh Hayner
Men's Lacrosse - Liam Lilienthal
Women's Lacrosse - Katelyn Pearson
Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Hunter Kent
Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Ally Bishop
Softball - Ashley Carroll
Men's Tennis - Alex Mantsevich
Women's Tennis - Emily Wichert
Men's Volleyball - Caleb Weaver

The MAC Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify great character and demonstrate the act of sportsmanship both and off the field. These student-athletes were selected by the head coaches from their respective teams. They represent their team, institution and the conference with high integrity, and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches and opponents.
