Tournament Sponsorship
The Dillsburg Area Soccer Club would like to offer your company the opportunity to place an ad or become a corporate sponsor of the Dillsburg Dual Shootout soccer tournament. Sponsorships are instrumental in providing kids from our community the chance to build lifelong skills and meet new friends through soccer.
Your dollars are a much-needed charitable contribution to DASC, but they earn you a fantastic opportunity to expose your business to our local community and beyond! Here’s who you’ll reach through our program:
Started in 1992, our Columbus Day weekend tournament began with the purpose of raising funds for the Dillsburg Area Soccer Club. Thirty-two boy’s teams played a unique world cup format that first year. Girls’ teams took to the show in the second year and interest has grown rapidly ever since. The Dillsburg Dual Shootout now involves over 296 teams from all over Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and New Jersey. We use 11 different local community sites with 37 fields, host over 4470 youth soccer players, 6000 coaches and parents, and use 190 referees to officiate 1002 soccer matches. The tournament also sells out all available blocked rooms at 25 to 30 local hotels.
Several local Sports Booster Clubs, Soccer Clubs, and Non-profits assist us by running our sites and concessions. Your donation allows our sites to have profitable concession stands. The money they make on concessions goes directly to their organizations fund. The tournament raises money through application fees and t-shirt sales. This has been our major fundraiser for many years. The profits have enabled the club to build several new fields, storage sheds, and concessions stands. More importantly it allows us to hire professional trainers for our teams and maintain or replace field equipment without burdening the Dillsburg players and families with the costs.
Fees and costs to run the tournament are going up each year. We’ve found ourselves at a point where your corporate sponsorship is critical to offsetting some of those costs.
