Community Relations

GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY

Perkiomen Valley Youth Basketball (PVYB) is committed to community involvement. We promote these values not only in our basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball programs, but also through our active support for individuals, organizations and causes that serve the public interest and well-being.

PVYB is a not for profit community based youth sports organization that teaches sports skills to youth in our community regardless of race, gender, religion or economic background.  While we stress the development of the individual, we are strongly committed to teaching leadership skills and teamwork as well as building social and moral values.

Some of the regular contributions PVYB makes to our community include donations to food banks, sponsoring free sports to families in need, assisting families in need and giving to local charities and boosters for several sports.  Over the years, PVYB has assisted our community in multiple ways, including donations to the local food bank, donations of over $10,000 to various charities/causes to assist families in need in the Perkiomen Valley School District and providing college/trade school scholarships for graduating seniors of Perkiomen Valley High School.
