The Baldwin Bombers is a travel youth football organization established in 1966, servicing kids from ages 5 to 13. We currently play in the Nassau County Youth Football League.

We are a USA Football Heads Up Certified organization, that services the children of Baldwin, Oceanside, Freeport, South Hempstead and other surrounding areas.  All of our coaches are Heads Up Certified and use their training to provide a safe environment that enhances the teaching of the game of football, and to instill the values of teamwork, cooperation and sportsmanship.

Some notable former players include U.S. Skier and Olympic Silver Medalist Devin Logan UFC Champion Chris Weidman and current NFL players Greg Van Roten and Stephen Bowen.

We encourage active participation by all parents. If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know.




WHO CAN PLAY

We are open to all athletes ages 5 to 13, from Baldwin and any other town WITHOUT a NCYFL team membership. There are eight age divisions, one for each age.

* - Roster Wt. is the maximum weight allowed to make the Team's Roster at the League's official weigh-in for our organization (usually around the last week of Aug., unless an early weigh-in is requested. See your Head Coach for details).

If a player's weight exceeds their age division's maximum Roster Weight, they are permitted to "play up" one age division only.
