Athletes interested in an early jump on their fitness may participate in a summer conditioning program starting in late June. This program is a great way to build up a running base, improve your running skills, meet friends and prepare for the rigor of the official practices. Summer conditioning starts in late June and concludes in late July.

The Official Cross Country season starts the beginning of August and concludes in Mid-October with the City Championships. 

The conditioning program, practices and meets are not mandatory.  Our athletes often compete in multiple sports creating conflicts.  Our goal is fitness and fun first.  If your athlete is running in soccer practice and maintaining their fitness then they should remain competitive for the races.

The OLG Eagles Summer Conditioning, XC practice schedule and XC meet schedule are all maintained a Google Calendar.  This calendar is updated periodically as additional conditioning sessions, practices and meet dates are formalized.  You can link to the calendar on your smartphone or electronic calendar by downloading the instructions found here..

Last minute changes or notifications often occur.  Please signup for the Remind Me App notifications by Texting the Remind App.  Enter the number 81010  and in the message field type @eaglescoac  and then hit send. Head Coaches and the Program Coordinator will use the messaging system to alert to cancelled or changed practice or an alert to modified content on the website.
