WVFC Weekend Results - April 18/19 2015

Great Weekend results from WVFC, with a couple championships and 2nd place finishes. It seems are teams are rounding into form here at the midway point in the season. With State Cup just around the corner, its the perfect time to be hitting our stride. See below for the results.

U11 Boys East: Went 0-3 at MASC in their top division

U11 Boys West: Went 2-0 on Saturday, with Sunday being rained out, was awarded first place at the FC Alliance Premier Cup

U11 Girls: Went 2-2 on the weekend, finshing in 2nd place after a hard fought 6-5 loss in the final at the Louisville Cup

U12 Boys Red: Went 0-3 on the weekend, with two hard fought losses, losing 1-0 to CUP and 2-1 to Kings Hammers at CUP's Elite Invitational

U14 Boys Red: Went 2-1 on the weekend, narrowly missing out on the final of CUP's Elite Invitational on goal differential

U14 Girls Black: Went 1-1-1 on the weekend, narrowly missing out on a championship game appearance with a last second goal in their last group game.

U15 Girls Red: Went 2-2 on the weekend, narrowly losing in the final of the Quantum Spring Classic for a 2nd place finish

U15 Girls Black: Had a tremendous weekend going 3-0-1 and getting 1st place at CUP's Elite Invitational. Great Job Ladies!

U16 Boys: Went 3-1 on the weekend, losing 1-0 in the championship game at CUP's Elite Invitational.

U17 Girls: Another championship for WVFC after the U17 girls won the Club Ohion Nike Challenge cup, going 4-0! Great Job Ladies!
