Center Point Little League

In 1994, local Center Point parents, eager to support their young baseball players, decided to establish their own Little League. With the generous donation of land from Frankie & Jan Thomason, construction of the fields began. The first CPLL officers were President Robert Lockaby, VP Robert Hones, Secretary Marsha Burney, and Treasurer Debbie Parks. Guy Bolin and his team, including Todd Franke, Eddie Taylor Jr. & Sr., Butch Lackey, and Blake Cunningham, put in countless hours of hard work. Contributions of equipment, materials, and labor came from JR Fritz, Reichenau Construction, Mini Mart, and Eddie Taylor Co. Bob Hoffman spread gravel donated by Martin Marietta/Bedrock Quarry, and the concession stand was built by Stacy Blackledge Construction with rock work by Kuko Valadez. Grants for lights, fencing, and operations were secured by Carroll Daily, Annette Butler, and Julie Kaiser Behrens. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering dedication of our past groundsmen, officers, and volunteers, whose hard work has laid the foundation for CPLL's success. Their commitment to our community and its young athletes will always be remembered. As we look to the future, we hope CPLL continues to thrive for many years, providing the best experiences for our deserving children.
