The Linwood Panthers are a registered
non-profit organization, which is run and operated entirely by volunteer
members. The Panthers offer competitive football for young athletes in grades 1st
thru 8th as well as Cheerleading for boys and girls through the same
grade levels. The Linwood Panther Nation is governed by a member-chosen
executive board consisting of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary
and Cheer Coordinators. On field operations are supervised by the Head Varsity
Football Coach and the Cheerleading Coordinators.
The Linwood Panther Nation is funded by a
combination of various and generous direct sponsorships, fund drives, events,
and of course participant registration fees.
All of the Panther programs are led by experienced
coaches who are not only active within the Panther Nation but in many other
areas of the Linwood community as well. All Panther football & cheer coaches
are committed to teaching kids the correct safe way to participate in their
respective sports. The lessons of sportsmanship, work ethic, fair play,
teamwork, and discipline are what matter most to Panther Nation.
The Linwood Panthers play and practice at
the All Wars Memorial Field Complex located right on the bike path, in the very
heart of town.
