CONGRATULATIONS TO MASSAPEQUA COAST LL, 2023 LL NYS CHAMPIONS 

The New York State Little League Championship Tournament, part of the Little League World Series Tournament will be held July 23rd through July 29th in Staten Island, New York. Sectional winners from eight regions of the State will compete for the New York State title. The winner will move on to the Mid-Atlantic Regionals in Connecticut. 

GREAT KILLS LITTLE LEAGUE
The Great Kills Little League was founded and chartered in 1953. In their 70-year history they have won the NY State title in 2011 and played in the Regionals. In 2018 the 10-year-old All Stars won the East Region Championship. The League also boasts one of the largest Challenger programs in New York State.

The GKLL Complex is in the heart of Great Kills at 26 Kennington Street. It highlights newly renovated turf fields, a digital scoreboard, a full-size concession stand and an indoor practice facility with batting cages inside and outside.

Robert Pascale, President, the Board of the Directors, and the entire League welcome you to District 24, Staten Island. This year’s event is the first of a three-year agreement. Along with this year’s co-host, the South Shore Little League, our goal is to make this Tournament the most memorable experience for the players, their families, and our community as well as everyone who attends the games.               


SOUTH SHORE LITTLE LEAGUE
The South Shore Little League was founded and chartered in 1955. In their impressive 68-year history they have been to the World Series in Williamsport three times, in 1985, 1991 and in 2009. They also were the 10-year-old New York State Champions in 2019 and 2022. In addition to competing, they hosted the 2011 games.

The SSLL Complex is located on the south shore of Staten Island at 243 Bedell Ave. It highlights turf fields, batting cages, a concession stand and it features a stadium where the games including the Championship game will be played.

NEW YORK STATE TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS

Opening day ceremonies to be held at the South Shore Little League Stadium Skills Contest and Home Run Derby to be held at the Great Kills Little League Complex Picnic for the players, coaches and their families following the Home Run Derby FerryHawks vs Gastonia Honey Hunters The All-Star players will be paraded on the field before the game Food, Beverages and a DJ for live entertainment Semi-Final Games will be played at the Great Kills Little League. The Championship Game will be held at the South Shore Little League Stadium. All ceremonies, skills contest and all games will be live streamed for free by PDF Sports Net Two cameras will be set up and there will be a Play-by-Play Commentator Semi-Finals & Championship Games will include a Color Commentator and an Engineer Gift Bags for all the players Picture This Photography will be on hand taking pictures and live action shots for purchase Legends Sporting Goods will display Apparel and Merchandise for purchase The Staten Island Advance will cover games, take pictures and do interviews
