⚾ Welcome to Friday Harbor Challenger Little League!

We’re excited to launch the second season of Friday Harbor’s Challenger Little League! This program is designed specifically for children and young adults in our community with physical and intellectual disabilities—giving them a chance to experience the joy of baseball in an inclusive, supportive team environment.

👥 Who Can Join? Ages: 5–22 years old Eligibility: Must be enrolled in school if over 18 Open to: All skill levels and abilities

🌟 What to Expect Non-competitive, inclusive games Focus on fun, friendship, and skill-building Each child gets a turn at bat—every game!

🧡 The Buddy System Each Challenger player is paired with a volunteer buddy who assists on the field. Buddies help as needed, while encouraging players to bat, run, and make plays on their own when possible. It’s a rewarding experience for both players and volunteers!

🗓️ Schedule at a Glance- Games: Sunday afternoons (plus the occasional weeknight game) Practices: Wednesday evenings Season Length: Approx. 8 games Game Format: 2–3 innings per game
