About Us

Welcome to Walker River Little League.

We are the official Little League affiliate of baseball and softball programs serving the communities of Schurz, Smith Valley and Yerington Nevada.  

Each of our valleys are touched by the Walker River as it cuts a path on its way to Walker Lake.  

Our programs serve players from age 4 all the way to 16.  

Our goal is to ensure that any child who wishes to play baseball or softball has the opportunity to do so.If there is a financial hardship that may prevent the registration of your athlete, please apply for the T-Mobile Callup grant to help with payment of your child(ren).

There is also limited second hand(in good condition) equipment available at no cost should your player be in need of equipment. Please let us know of any specific needs you may have and we will make any reasonable accommodation we can to ensure as many kids as possible get to experience the game we love and the friendships they will cherish for a lifetime.

Our organization has seen considerable growth over the last decade and we are looking forward to another great season in 2025!
