We have finally returned to the gym! In doing so, we would like for everyone to be aware of the guidelines we have put in place to keep our coaches and athletes safe and healthy.
Please drop off & pick up your athlete outside the gym in which their practice is held.
Lobbies are closed so parents/spectators should remain in their cars
We have staggered Start and End times of each session
Please arrive dressed in active gear and street shoes.
Mask must be worn during interaction times;
Cheer shoes should be carried into the lobby or gym area where you will change into them.
Place street shoes and any other clothing items into your bag and leave in the lobby area
Bring your own water bottle with name on it. Water bottles are to be placed in a designated area. No cubby use.
Your bag will stay into the lobby area.
Use hand sanitizer prior to entering the gym area.
NO HUGS, High Fives or hand shakes (Sorry!)
If unwell or living with anyone unwell, please stay home.
If you have an underlying health condition, please wait to return to practice.
Attendance will be taken upon entry to the gym
A health survey will be asked of each athlete through a google form.
Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
Have you or anyone you live with been sick or had flu like symptoms in the last 14 days.
Have you traveled outside KY in the past 14 days.
Should athletes answer yes to any of these questions they cannot participate. If any of the attendees or staff members has a positive COVID-19 result, we will follow all government guidelines and start contact tracing and advise all involved.
Deep cleaning will be done prior to classes, daily.
Hand sanitizer will be dispensed to all athletes and staff on entry into the gym, as well at the end of class
All commonly used areas, surfaces, handles, and touch points will be cleaned and sanitized after each class.
All waste and disposable PPE will be securely and safely disposed.
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment will be available in all areas.
Practice/class times have been changed to allow for cleaning between classes.
Numbers will be limited in each gym to include staff and stay inside the recommend guidelines.
All athletes must be properly enrolled in practice/class/clinic/private lesson to be in the gym.
NO Drop-Ins are allowed
We will maintain social distancing of 6 feet between everyone within the venue.
Each KCC gym is designated by age group or class description
Lobbies are closed
Water fountains are turned off
Limited bathroom use
Doors will be propped open when weather permits
All staff will ensure that they maintain appropriate social distance
Coaches will not have any physical contact with athletes (no spotting)
Coaches will sanitize all equipment after each use
Stunting, baskets & pyramids will take place with the use of mask and hand sanitizer use.
Mask are required, where it is not possible to stay distanced.
• Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer, especially after touching frequently used items or surfaces. • Avoid touching your face. • Sneeze or cough into a tissue, or the inside of your elbow. • Disinfect frequently used items and surfaces as much as possible. • Strongly consider using face coverings while in public, and particularly when using mass transit.
