ALL of your AYFCL coaches are certified with USA Football's "Head's Up" program.
In addition to teaching coaches proper technique to ensure safety, our coaches learn extensively about the signs and symptoms of concussions, as well as heat exhaustion and basic first aid.
On top of all coaches completing the 4 hour USA Football course, this year will be adding 3 more online training courses for all of our coaches thru Glazier Clinics.
AYFL also has a Player Rep and Coaches' Agent on staff, both to further the education and development of coaches.
Our entire Executive Board is very hands on when it comes to player safety, proper technique being taught, and providing all the necessary resources for our coaches.
CHEER COACHES AND TEAM PARENTS must complete all coaches forms and the CDC Concussion Awareness certification.

Live Scan is required by all first time volunteers or any volunteers with a break in service. Please fill out and take to Perry's Parcel's or Atascadero PD. Keep a copy of your form and your receipt for your records.
CDC Concussion Awareness
All football coaches and Auditors will also have to complete the USA Tackle Football Certification and keep a print out of their completion certificate. The print out will be required to be turned into the Athletic Director.
