NASA Area Little League Welcomes Dollars for Diamonds Partnership with James Coney Island

HOUSTON, TX (September 22, 2017) – Supporters of the NASA Area Little League will be cheering for plenty of scoring this fall, thanks to a new partnership between the League and Houston’s own James Coney Island.

As part of its Dollars for Diamonds program, JCI Grill will donate one dollar, up to $1,000, for every run scored during the NASA Area Little League’s 2017 fall ball season.  The run totals of every team, from Tee Ball to the Majors division, will contribute to the donation.

“With every crack of the bat, we’re thinking dollars for our diamonds,” says Cody Corley, president of the NASA Area Little League.  “We’re delighted James Coney Island has stepped up to the plate with its support.”

A Houston original since 1923, JCI Grill operates 20 Houston-area locations including two nearby at 20700 Gulf Freeway in Webster and 3803 Spencer Hwy. in Pasadena.

Each JCI Grill presents the restaurant’s legendary Coneys, gourmet and classic hot dogs, chili and Frito Pie, burgers and sliders with Nolan Ryan all-natural Texas beef, sandwiches, salads and dessert treats.

Now in its 52nd year, the NASA Area Little League is the only Little League-affiliated sports program in Clear Lake.
