2026 NLMFA Fall Football

The NLMFA football program is broken down into four levels of play based on age. These levels are Smurfs, Peewees, Ponys, and Midgets. Our football teams participate in the CFA Football League. Full details and history on the CFA football league can be found via their website.

This season, we will likely play an eight game regular season with our home games played at the Northern Lebanon High School and away games with travel time between 10-60 minutes. Our Smurf team will also play in the Smurf Bowl at the end of the season and our Peewees, Ponys, and Midgets are eligible for playoffs at the end of the season with our ultimate goal of participating in the Superbowl!

Smurf, Peewee, Pony, and Midget divisions play under the striper rule. This means that a player can still play if they are over the weight limit for that division but will be limited to play on the offensive and defensive lines.

2026 Fall Itty Bitty Football (Ages 4, 5, & 6)

Itty Bitty Football is an introductory, non-contact level of football for boys and girls ages 4 through 6. We will have practice two evenings a week (location TBD) that will last 45-60 minutes, starting in mid August. During practices the children will learn football skills and play football related games. During the season, this level does not play football games against other teams but the kids will participate in the Itty Bitty Bowl prior to our upper level's final home game. Each participant will receive a free T-shirt and have a lot of fun!

2026 Fall Sideline Cheerleading

The NLMFA sideline cheerleading program is broken down into four levels based on grade. Levels are Smurfs, Peewees, Ponys, and Midgets. Our squads cheer at our home and away football games; they will also participate in youth night at the high school game! Our football teams participate in the CFA Football League and the 2026 schedule of games will be available in May or June. Viking youth cheerleaders learn the fundamentals of sideline cheer, stunting, and dance!

2026 Fall Itty Bitty Cheerleading (Ages 4, 5, & 6)

WHAT IS ITTY BITTY CHEERLEADING?

ITTY BITTY CHEER is our youngest level of cheerleading. This level of cheer is designed to be a fun introduction to cheerleading for kids ages 4 , 5, and 6, as of April 30. Practices for this level will begin in mid-August and run through early October. Practices will be held two evenings a week and will last 45 minutes to an hour (practice day/time TBD). The cheerleaders will learn the basics of cheerleading. They will learn cheers, play games and they will get to interact with some of the older cheerleaders. At the end of the season, the Itty Bitty Cheerleaders perform at the Itty-Bitty Bowl held at the high school!
