Program Information

Welcome to Champlin Park Girls Soccer.  If you're new to our program or need a few reminders of what to expect from the season, see the information below.

If you know of any girls who may be interested in CPHS Girls Soccer that might not be receiving communications from the CPHS Girls Soccer Boosters, please share this link to join our email subscription list.

In order to tryout, all players must register for a fall sport online before tryouts, you will not be able to participate in tryouts if it is not completed.  Registration will require an activities fee and all players must have a valid physical from their doctor on file (updated every 3 years).  If you are in doubt, or have specific questions about the required sports physical, please reach out to Marcy Burnevik - Activities Secretary at [email protected] or call 763-506-6902.

Registration is expected to open on or around August 1 - Click Here

CPHS Summer Training Program
Summer training program for girls entering grades 6 - 12. The objective of this program is to help build strength, fitness, and prepare athletes to become better all around soccer players. This is an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in your technical skills, tactical ability, strength and fitness!  Click on the Summer Training Program tab above.

Captains Practice
August 5 - 9, 2024  9-11AM
In order to familiarize yourself with the program and its leaders, captains practices are a fun way to get touches on the ball while also learning more about your teammates both on/off the field in a low/medium intensity environment.

2024 Tryouts: August 12-15, 2024 - 8:00-9:00 AM   AND   6:00-8:00 PM
All tryout sessions are MANDATORY
.  Players must register with the CPHS Activities Office before they are allowed to try out.

August 12th - 15th, 2024
  - Morning session 8-9 AM
  - Evening session 6-8 PM

Each player must be properly equipped during tryouts: shin guards, cleats, socks, and running shoes.  If you fail to bring these items, you will not be allowed to try out until you have them to ensure player safety.

What if I miss a tryout date?
Tryout sessions are mandatory.  We cannot hold a spot for players
- new, returning, or injured players.  If team space allows for it, we can place that player on a lower-level team for continued evaluation of skill set, work rate, and attitude.  Dependent on those characteristics and the coach's evaluation, the player will either stay on that team, move up accordingly, or could be potentially let go from the program.  Again, we cannot guarantee placement on a team if the roster numbers are unable to accommodate for it.

All Teams Mandatory Parent Meeting -TBD
We will meet as a program and then break into smaller groups, specific to each team.  Information regarding expectations, training schedule, and team events will be provided during this time.

Booster Club - Fees
Booster fees are due by the mandatory team meetings/picnic.  Each player that participates in the program is required to pay a booster fee. This fee is used by the Booster Club to supplement equipment that the school is unable to provide to the girls soccer program.  Balls, corner flags, goals and nets, uniforms, warm-ups, and socks are just a few items that this fee is used toward.

2024 Booster Club Fees
Varsity and JV -TBD
B and C teams - TBD

If you are interested in joining the Booster Club or volunteering, please click Booster Club.  Volunteers are always needed and appreciated.
