Mutiny brings in 3 Championships and 2 Finalist at Plant City Strawberry Classic
A weekend filled with sunshine, warm weather, small tents city's, and the Mutiny winning all over the place at the Plant City Strawberry Classic. Here's how it broke down.
U9 Reds and Coach Carlos went 3-0-0 in group play putting them in the finals late on Sunday. Mutiny feel short to the Lehigh Lightning in the finals. Big congratulations to the U9 Red team and coach Carlos as this is their first tournament finals finish.
U11 Boys with Coach Tim and Coach Greg went 2-1-0 in group play taking a 3-1 lose to Highlands United in group play. This set the rematch in the finals where the U11 team was crowned Champions where 1 goal is all they would need when they held Highlands to 0 goals in the finals. Congrats to the U9 team who continue to just WIN WIN WIN!!!
U12 with Coach Matt and Coach Tim went 2-0-0 on Saturday which was good enough to send the team straight to a finals game on Sunday afternoon. In Sundays championship game the Mutiny dominated over the Park United SC. The game finished 3-0. Congrats to the U12 team who never allowed a goal all weekend.
U13 boys with Coach Jorge and Coach Shane went 2-1-0 in group where the Mutiny feel short to FC Tampa Rangers. This set up a rematch with the boys to face off against the Rangers in the finals. In the finals the Mutiny fought hard but would fall short to the Rangers again. Once again very proud of the U13 boys as they continue to show why they are one of the best teams in the region.
U14 with Coach Collin and Coach Fil went 2-1-0 in group play. This would put them in the finals vs the tournament host Plant City.
The U14 Mutiny team would come out winning the back and forth battle that finished with a final score of 3-2.
Congratulation to all the Mutiny coaches and teams
