The Clayton Civitan Club offers tackle football for youth sports ages 6-12. The football program is divided by age and weight groups, there is no weight restriction for the 12u PeeWee league. The program participates in the East Wake Football League and is governed by the same body. A MANDATORY requirement of the East Wake Football League this year is that all players must have a state-issued ID card to play. Players MUST have this state issued ID by August 1. We will assist players any way we can to obtain their ID card. Contact a coach or the Civitan Club at (919) 550-0694 for more information. There are multiple teams in multiple divisions.

The first practice will be at Clayton Civitan the last week of July to the first week of August. The exact date will be posted when announced by the East Wake Football League.

All participants will need to sign a participation waiver prior to starting practice.

Flag football is offered to 4, 5, and 6-year-olds as an introduction to football and the purpose is to teach our youth the basic skills needed to improve and move up into the next level divisions at the appropriate age. For the 2026 season, practice and game nights will be emailed to the address on file at registration.

The season will begin in August, start dates for the season will be posted when announced by the East Wake Football League.
