USFS Gold Medalist; Coaches all ages and levels of skating recreational to competitive; 4 year show skater with Disney on Ice; Director and Coach of High Peaks Skating Academy.
Amy Payton has been coaching for over 20 years. She trained year round as a competitive skater at the Olympic Center. She represented the SCLP as a Regional & Eastern ladies competitor. After graduation she was hired by Feld Entertainment as a professional skater for Disney On Ice. She toured with Disney for 4 years traveling throughout the US, Mexico, Canada, Europe and South America. Amy is currently the director and professional for the High Peaks Skating Academy in Tupper Lake and Saranac Lake. Amy is also involved with the USA hockey program coaching power & edge classes throughout the tri-lakes region. Amy lives in Lake Placid where she also coaches year round offering private lessons to all ages and abilities.
