2026 T-Ball

T-Ball is an introductory program to baseball/softball for kids in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Deadline to register is Sunday, March 15th. Late registrations will only be honored if there are spots available. Please consider being a coach for your child's team, volunteer coaches are always needed!

Cutoffs:

Participants must be 4 by May 1st, 2026 - This is the youngest age allowed, if your child misses this cutoff, you'll need to wait until next summer to start playing t-ball.

Participants cannot turn 7 before September 1st, 2026 - If your child misses this cutoff, you need to sign up for 1st-2nd grade coach-pitch baseball or softball.

2026 MCYL Baseball/Softball

Carlyle's city league baseball and softball teams participate in the Mid County Youth League that features teams across Clinton County. Practices are held in Carlyle, half of the games are at home, and the other half are away. Deadline to register is Sunday, March 15th.

Late registrations will only be honored if there are open spots available so please do not wait. Also, please consider coaching your child's team, volunteer coaches are always needed!

Baseball and softball both have the same age groups. Age groups are determined by your child's current year in school:

1st-2nd Grade (Coach-Pitch)

3rd-4th Grade

5th-6th Grade
