Rene Aponte

Mayra Soto


Prior to arriving at On Base Inc., Mayra worked at the New York Botanical Garden as the Horticulture Coordinator. In this position, Mayra was instrumental in helping balance the Horticulture department budget for 11 years. She created programs to help with the tracking of expenses and trained various staff members in Membership, Creative Services, Operations and Security department on these programs. She began her career as a Facilities Planning Assistant at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. In this position, she ran capital reports for the Facilities department and was in charge of preparing and submitting payments for the Facilities and Security department. After leaving St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Mayra began working with the non-profit agency National Neurofibromatosis Foundation. She began working as the administrative assistant to the Director of Development. After a few months, she was promoted to Senior Development Associate. In this position, she managed the development department and was in charge of running all fundraising events and preparing expense and revenue reports for all Tri-state fundraiser events. Mayra has a Bachelor’s of Science and  Masters in Counseling from Mercy College.

Sherree Sanchez

Sherree Sanchez has over 18 years of proven work experience with the New York City Department of Education which she has held different titles, Health Aide, Family Worker, Parent Coordinator and School Business Manager.   She has held her current position has School Business Manager for the past 10 years.  Sherree has proven experience in the following areas of Finance, Budgeting, Payroll, Human resources, Operations management, and Grant Operation. She currently oversees a budget of over 6 million dollars. In this position, Sherree has reviewed and expedite all contracts and school purchases by utilizing contract vendors and online purchasing accounts. She has also been responsible for the direct supervision of Grant Funding in relation to non- instructional items such as ; personnel, supplies and equipment. Sherree currently reviews and expedites all contracts and school purchases by utilizing contract vendors and online purchasing accounts. She responsible for the overseeing of all business, financial and administrative matters.  She administers all bi-weekly budget meetings to assure the budgeting is being utilized to the fullest extent. Sherree’s skills in fundraising and event planning have been instrumental in the overseeing of school events. Sherree has exceptional project management, organizational, communications, interpersonal skills and administrative skills.  Sherree has enjoyed working to reorganize, revitalize and bring to life the    strategic plans of her work place.Sherree has a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts degree specializing in Sociology from the School of New Resources College of New Rochelle.

Jackie Rivera

Jackie has been a part of the On Base teams for six years. As the Head Parent Coordinator at On Base Inc, Jackie serves as the liaison between the parents and On Base Administrators by maintaining stability. Coordinating teams’ information, documentation, fund-raising, and scheduling are just a few of the job duties she is responsible for.  Prior to joining On Base Inc, Jackie served as a mediator between buyers and sellers as a Real Estate Agent. Jackie has an extensive background in customer service. She has studied communication techniques and personality types and uses this information on building and maintaining relationships.
