Committee Descriptions for 2022 Season
Ad Book
The BOYS boosters will be handling most of the work for getting the books together for this year. A rough idea of what will need to be done:
1. Get letter from Uwe and coaching staff bios
2. Solicit ads from corporate partners
3. Collect Senior bios and baby pictures
4. Provide rosters (Freshman, JV, Varsity) and uniform numbers when teams are announced
5. Need business ad coordinator – collect ads from businesses
6. Need player ad coordinator – collect ads from players
7. Need final editor
Ball Boy Assignments
Assign freshman ball boys for all varsity home games. Four players for each home game. Freshman parent
Banquet - Freshman
Book location in September, order gifts for players, order food, decorate, coordinate volunteers to bring additional food/drink/dessert items. Rooms at CRC are free for Boosters – book in advance.
Banquet - JV
Book location September, order gifts for players, order food, decorate, coordinate volunteers to bring additional food/drink/dessert items. Rooms at CRC are free for Boosters – book in advance.
Banquet - Varsity
Duties include booking banquet facility, player and coach gifts, decorating, etc.
Reserve Venue and pay deposit
Order gifts for the senior varsity players
Order gifts for the Varsity players who are not seniors
Coordinate with the venue for setup, decorations and food
Nail down headcount
Plan out the evening - list of speakers, timing for speakers, timing for meal, etc.
Have someone take pictures of each player and their parents and throughout the event if desired
Slideshow of pictures from the past season is nice but not sure how it was handled in years past
Breast Cancer Awareness Night
Need ideas for fundraiser (new idea?? bake sale?), balloons around stadium, pink socks for varsity players. 50/50?
Bus Snacks
Purchase and coordinate the distribution of snacks for all away games. Long bus trips will have a meal. Snacks include a drink (gatorade, powerade, body armour, or water) and protein bar/rice krispie treat/some other healthy snack. One volunteer per team. Requires daytime availability (will need to distribute snacks at bus)
Community Service Project
Plan a community service project within USC for either an organization or a family in need. Schedule date and time for boys to participate
Concessions
At pre-season scrimmage and perhaps one or two other games, set up concession booth, signs, handle cash receipts, etc.
Door Signs
Senior signs prior to the beginning of the season. IF we make the playoffs, we will need to organize the effort to make door signs for all of the varsity player doors.
Pasta Dinners
Coordinate the schedule for Freshman/JV/Varsity dinners, also assign volunteers for food prep, etc. One Person per team. Pasta dinners occur the day before an away game. We do not typically do pasta dinners on Friday nights before Saturday games.

Photography
Take photos during AWAY games, share with the group, via TeamSnap. One person per team/game
Picture Day
Coordinate with M&M Photography, set date, distribute forms, distribute pictures, etc.
Need one parent from each team.
Senior Rec Night
Organize mother’s corsages (bracelets?)/flowers, coordinate M&M Photography, snacks/drinks for senior parents, script and senior bios to announcer, gifts for opposing seniors, etc. Prefer a Junior Parent Chair
Spirit Wear
Receive Spirit Wear orders, sort and either distribute to buyers or set up a time for buyers to pick up items (ex at your house, at a table at the field, etc…)
Team Managers
Team contact responsibilities include distributing team apparel (will be sorted by team), distributing photos from M&M, collecting lottery tickets from players and returning to treasurer
Uniforms
Uniforms will be distributed once the team is announced. Volunteers will need to collect uniforms and warm ups at the end of season. Ensure all pieces are accounted for, washed and placed in a large ziploc bag with Player Name and Number labeled on bags. Need one person for each team.
Website
Help keep the website current, post pertinent information, and keep the website accessible to booster members. Maintain and post to Social Media Accounts.
Youth Night
Organize activities such as pre-game youth tunnel, handing out candy/beads/drinks, raffle for halftime drawing, balloons placed around the stadium, etc. 50/50?
To Be Discussed
Community Day
Help man the booth, run the game, sell merchandise. Need both parent and players volunteers.
TV Announcers
Videography
Responsible for picking up/returning video equipment for USC Cable Channel and recording Varsity Games.
