We are excited to announce that US Soccer’s Megan McCormick will be joining the Colorado Rush staff.
Megan McCormick is well respected around the Country and her most recent role as US Soccer’s Club Development Manager (CDM) within the Girls DA meant Megan spent the last several years evaluating individual club’s development tools in the Frontier conference including clubs like Lonestar, Solar, Houston Dash, FC Dallas, Sporting BV and Real Colorado. This also allowed her to work with and experience Colorado Rush’s Philosophy, Playing Style and how the club operated from a team and player development standpoint. These interactions with Colorado Rush staff and players fostered an incredible working relationship among McCormick and the Colorado Rush Staff.
As McCormick transitioned out of US soccer with the Development Academy ceasing operations, McCormick took time to evaluate her next potential role, whether it be in Youth, College or the Pro’s. We are excited that by her lengthy research and discussions with many top organizations, she felt that Colorado Rush and it’s Rush Way philosophy aligned with not only her beliefs on player development, but a club that will continue to push her to grow in the game and individually.

McCormick will oversee Colorado Rush’s Elite Player Program, helping guide players to fulfill their goals of playing in College, the Pro’s and Youth National Teams. Megan will work alongside Colorado Rush’s Technical Director, Russell Finch in the Rush Way coaching education, developing coaches within the organization and continue to develop the club to be one of the best in the Country.

This past year Megan was invited onto the “She Believes Committee” as well as being involved in Youth National teams. Prior to working with US Soccer McCormick was the Head Coach at Depauw University, building an extensive network of College coaches around the Country. Megan has a graduate degree in Special Ed from Marion University and currently holds her USSF A Senior, National Youth and the USSF Academy Director licenses.
