Players on the trip are handled separately from Parents and are predetermined by the Tournament brokers.

PARENTS ACCOMMODATIONS ON TRIP:
Parents have choices here.
In Helsinki, you have the option of staying at the same hotel as your player (although not in the same room).
The program is set up to build the players independence and to bond with his or her teammates.
Players will be assigned a room and a roommate selected by the Program Managers Marcos and Paulo.
In Gothenburg, Parents can not stay in the same hotel as the players and must find their own accommodations. Players will be at the college dorms with their teammates. Parents will need to find their own accommodations while in Gothenburg. We are suggesting that parents find a hotel downtown near the "stadium" area as this is where most of the activities will be held and the area where the teams will be staying at the high school.
I have researched some nearby hotels and am posting them here for your consideration. I would either consider staying at one of these nearby hotels, find one yourself or to also consider setting up your own accommodations via VRBO.com or through AirBnB.com

50 % of the rooms confirmed 25.08. may be cancelled free of charge 02.08.2017.
For any later cancellations the hotel keeps the right to charge 100 % of the cancelled services.
All cancellations must be received in writing (which can be in electronic form) from the Client and will take effect from the date of receipt by the Hotel.

GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN ACCOMODATION OPTIONS:
Marcos has confirmed that the players will be staying in the BURGARDEN SCHOOL GYMNASIUM in Gothenburg. This is a downtown location not too far from the main stadium. You will want to secure accommodation in this area. You can see a google map location of the School here >>> MAP
The School is located down by the main town and not far from the opening ceremonies stadium. There are a few medium priced hotels in the area of the school and might be ideal for those to stay "near" the players and for parents that want to gather with others parents.

If you have found a nearby hotel nearby that you think might fill the bill, please let me and the others know. You should plan to book accommodation pretty soon as they will fill up as the teams start registering in March. Most small downtown hotels seem to run around $150 usd/nt and up/nt.
