Looking for sharp, motivating volunteer Cheer Coaches. This position will require you to oversee, train, encourage, Bellflower youth cheerleaders ages 5-13 The selected candidate will insure the team operates and conducts themselves within the ideals and goals set forth by the Bellflower Broncos organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior cheerleading coach experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.
• Ability to connect with children and parents to create a healthy outcome.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Prepares cheerleaders both physically and mentally for games, practice, teaching of fundamental skills, and prepares students with knowledge to advance career.
• Organization and development of the cheer program as needed
• Ability to lay out practice and game plan of action.
• Ability to communicate effectively with players, faculty, administration, parents and coaches
• Monitor the safety and wellbeing of all participants while at practice and at games
