What are the registration fees for 2025-2026?
U6 and U8: Registration fee is $95 and the uniform shirt is included
U10-U15: Registration fee is $110. **The navy and gold uniform shirt is NOT included. If your child does not have a navy and gold uniform shirt or it no longer fits, the shirt can be purchased at the time of registration for an estimated cost of $29.00.
Does DVYSC offer a refund?
There are
no refunds.
Is there a late fee? After the date advertised for registration closes there will be a $35. late fee.
How old do you have to be to play?
We take players starting at 4 years old through 14 years old (must be in middle school; not high school)
What are the age breakdowns for the Fall 2025 through Summer 2026 season?
** Please note that players are grouped by birth year, NOT grade level.
U6 Birth Year 2020/2021 **Fall 2025 season- player must be 4 by September 12, 2021

When are practices and games?
U6 will be clinic style for 45 minutes for approximately 8 weeks on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am.
U8 Practices are one time a week and will be set by the coaches at the coaches meeting. Games are typically scheduled for Saturday mornings at 10:30. **Times are subject to change after registration closes.
U10 Practices will be set by the coaches at the coaches meeting. Games are typically scheduled for 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm or 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoons **Times are subject to change after registration closes.
U12 Practices will be set by the coaches at the coaches meeting. Games are typically scheduled for 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm or 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoons . **Times are subject to change after registration closes.
U15 Practices will be set by the coaches at the coaches meeting. Games are typically scheduled for 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm or 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoons. **Times are subject to change after registration closes.
Where are practices/games held?
All divisions will be at Alexandria Park for the Fall 2025 Season.
What are the team sizes?
U6 tries to keep the ratio at 1 coach to 8 players. *Ratio can vary (No maximum or minimum players as long as there are enough coaches.)
U8 minimum of 8, maximum of 11 players per team.*
U10 minimum of 9, maximum of 14 players per team.*
U12 minimum of 11, maximum of 16 players per team.*
U15 minimum of 12, maximum of 20 players per team.*
* Team size varies based on enrollment and coach availability.
How many players play in a game?
U8 4 v 4 or 5 v 5 depending on enrollment
U10 7 v 7
U12 9 v 9
U15 11 v 11
What league is DVYSC playing in?
U6 and U8 will be playing in house against each other only.
HCRSL (Hunterdon County Recreational Soccer League) for U10 through U12.
Here is what you need to know about the HCRS League:
1. This league consists of Delaware Township, South County, and Flemington.
2. This league does NOT allow travel players
3. Games are played on Sundays with games at 1:00, 2:30 and 4:00 pm.
4. Field locations for away games are at Sara Dilts Park, Ringoes Municipal fields, East Amwell School, Barley Sheaf School, Francis Desmare School, and Lenape Park.
When does the Fall and Spring Season Start?
Fall practices can start the end of August/beginning of September.
Spring practices can start the end of March/beginning of April, weather permitting.
When does registration open/close for the Fall and Spring Season?
Fall registration opens in the month of July only.
Spring registration opens in the month of January only.
Will siblings be on the same team?
If your players are in the same division, they will be placed on the same team.
If I volunteer to coach will my child be on the same team?
Yes, your child(ren) will be placed on the same team.
Can I request my child to be on a certain team?
No. DVYSC does not accommodate coach or friend requests when making teams. We attempt to balance teams as much as possible to ensure competitive teams and balanced competition.
Do you keep your uniform shirt and what else do I need to purchase for my uniform?
Shirt - Yes, you purchased the shirt at the time of registration. You can also reuse the same uniform shirt of navy/gold vertical stripes for additional seasons for U10 and above:
Shorts - You will need to purchase your own shorts. We recommend black for U6/U8 and navy for U10 and above. Example of shorts to buy:

Soccer socks - You will need to purchase your own socks. We recommend black for U8 and navy for U10 and above.
What equipment do I need to play?
Cleats - U6 may play in sneakers. U8 and above need soccer cleats for all practices and games. Make sure they are soccer cleats only. (do not have a stud directly in center of the upper shoe)
Shin Guards - All players must have shin guards, you will not be permitted on the soccer field at any level with out shin guards for all practices and all games. Shin guards must go inside your soccer socks, not over the socks.
Soccer Ball - We will provide you with a soccer ball for practices and games. If you would like to purchase a soccer ball please make sure to purchase the correct size: U6 & U8 = size 4 / U10 & U12 = size 4 / U15 and up = size 5
Does DVYSC offer any discounts?
The 3rd child is free when registering multiple children.
