President - Laura Hart

The President is the chief executive of the Association and shall, subject to the control of the Board of Directors, have general supervision, direction and control of the business and affairs of the corporation. He/She shall preside at all membership meetings and all committees except the nomination committee. He/ She shall have the power to appoint such committees as necessary. He/She shall have one vote only in case of a tie. The President or his duly appointed representative shall attend all Pop Warner Football conference meetings. The president shall also be liaison to the city parks department and the public school system, whichever is necessary.
Vice President - Allan Stone
In the absence of the President, the Executive Vice President shall perform all the duties of the President, and when so acting shall have all the powers and perform such duties as from time to time may be prescribed for him/ her by the President, or Board of Directors. In case of vacancy in the Office of President, the Executive Vice President shall automatically succeed to that office and serve for the un-expired term to disburse funds. The Executive Vice President shall head the board meetings when necessary; conduct an annual review of field locations.
Secretary - Temah Claspell
The Secretary shall keep or cause to be kept a book of minutes of all meetings of the Board of Directors. The Secretary shall keep or cause to be kept a register showing the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of all the Directors and members. The Secretary shall be the custodian of the by-laws of the Association and shall have said by-laws present at each meeting. The Secretary shall conduct the correspondence of the Association. The Secretary, upon receipt of any correspondence communication or other material, shall notify the President and route the material as directed. During the season the secretary is responsible for overseeing the weekly board schedule and ensuring the games are covered and teams are assigned to snack bar and gate duty. The league secretary is responsible for overseeing the Scholarship applications and ensuring that families volunteer accordingly.
Treasurer - Jill Cronin
The treasurer shall maintain adequate and correct accounts of the business transactions of this Association. The treasurer shall promptly deposit all monies and other valuables in the name of and to the credit of the Association with such depositories as shall be designated by the Board of Directors. The Treasurer shall disburse the funds of this Association in such a manner as may be ordered by the Board of Officers and account for all transactions as Treasurer. The Treasurer shall present a financial statement at the first meeting of the Board of Directors following receipt of the monthly bank statements. All accounts shall be balanced and reconciled and copies of each made available for each Board member present. An auditing committee, appointed by the President, shall audit the financial records and all Association property and shall present their report at the first meeting in February of each year. All checks drawn on this Association shall have two signatures as designated by the Board of Directors. The Treasurer shall create an annual financial budget and present to the board in March of each year. All disbursements exceeding three hundred fifty dollars must have prior approval by the Board.
Assistant Treasurer - Sherrie Hamashita
The Assistant Treasurer is to assist the Treasurer by managing each individual teams funds and report those to the Treasurer. All money coming into each team, such as fundraising and sponsorship money shall be accounted for. All money outgoing such as team costs, banquet costs, or player/coaches gifts shall be accounted for and shared with the Treasurer.
Athletic Director - Vacant
The Athletic Director is responsible for all athletic activities including the following and shall carry out such activities and assignments as delegated by the President:
1) Shall conduct Coaches meetings.
2) Shall provide to the Board of Directors recommendations for coaching assignments.
3) Coordinate with the City of Los Alamitos, City of Seal Beach and LAUSD to secure fields for practices and home games.
4) Establish practice schedules.
5) Ensure that all teams and coaches abide by the organization and conference rules.
6) Shall be responsible for all activity which occurs on the practice and playing fields.
7) Shall be responsible for distributing any league and conference rule books.
8) Has authorization to reprimand coaches for violation of coaching ethics, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
9) Shall be the liaison in all disputes between the player (or parent/guardian) and the Board of Directors, Coaches, etc.
10) Shall assist in determining final player placement.
11) Shall be responsible for the pre-game field preparation and post game clean up. He/She is responsible for the proper maintenance and clean up of all fields. He/She is responsible for all field related equipment and facilities (including, but not limited to any buildings) and shall carry out such duties and assignments as delegated by the President.
League Business Manager - Jessica Cornejo
The Team Parent Coordinator shall act as liaison between the Board and Business Managers, relaying all items of concern and information between these two parties. The coordinator is responsible for overseeing opening day events and coordination of team photos. Team parent coordinator is responsible for handling all trophy ordering and distribution to all teams below the Mighty Mite level (non-playoff teams).
Cheer Coordinator - Vacant
The Cheer Coordinator is responsible for pre-registration, registration, correction and notification of cognizant Association and Conference personnel for cheerleaders following procedures set forth by the Board. The Cheer Coordinator will further call for and receive all applications for Cheer Advisor and Assistants. The Cheer Coordinator shall be responsible for the recruitment, training and coordination of cheer coaches and cheerleaders and shall disseminate information to the cheer coaches.
Publicity Coordinator/Web Master - Brittney Cook-Cannata
The Publicity Coordinator shall be responsible for all of the organizations publicity and advertising relative to membership sign-ups. This includes advertising and coordination with local schools for distribution of flyers, coordination with applicable local organizations in purchasing and hanging banners that are approved by the Board of Directors. The Publicity Coordinator is responsible for all media, such as but not limited to social media content. He/She will also work closely with the Secretary to coordinate and maintain the LAPW league website. Any architectural or design changes to the website shall be presented tot he Board of Directors for approval. If this position is not filled all responsibilities fall under the Secretary.
Equipment Manager - VACANT
The Equipment Manager shall be responsible for selecting, purchasing, and disbursing all equipment as directed by the Board. The Equipment Manager shall inventory all equipment and property of the Association at the close of the playing season and report to the Board in January of each year. The equipment manager shall advise the Head Coaches and team equipment managers on the proper care, maintenance, and use of all equipment and report any violations of his instructions to the Board.
Uniform Coordinator - VACANT
The Uniform Coordinator shall be responsible for selecting, purchasing, and disbursing all uniforms as directed by the Board. The Uniform Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a contractual agreement with LAYFC and a chosen vendor. He/She is responsible for holding the vendor accountable for adherence to timelines and quality set forth in the contract. The Uniform Coordinator is responsible for establishing a uniform fitting event(s) on behalf of LAYFC and disbursing uniforms to players.
Sponsorship & Fundraiser Coordinator - VACANT
Plans, facilitates and executes fundraising initiatives for the league in a continued effort to meet and exceed our fundraising goal as outlined in our budget. Looks for out of the box and creative opportunities, always looking for ways to reach the community and benefit our participants. Submits requests to existing Sponsors, seeks out new Sponsors and ensures Sponsors are appropriately recognized and appreciated for their contributions.
Registration Coordinator - Sherrie Hamashita
Participates in and leads planning, organizing and facilitating Football and Cheer registrations for the season. Recruits and leads a registrations support team. Manages and organizes registrations forms and books. Partners with the treasurer to execute safe money handing practices and provides monthly registrations reports to the Board. Supports Teams with new registration requirements after the season registration events.
Little Scholars - VACANT
The Little Scholar’s Representative shall be responsible for the collection of all report cards and filling out any and all forms necessary for the Little Scholars Program. Little Scholar Representative shall be responsible for recognition at the Association level.
