SOUTHLAND FC was created from the merger of two local soccer clubs (United Select Soccer Association & Dabrico United Futbol Club). Each clubs founding fathers met and proposed a merger idea. This idea was then in the discussion of each clubs own board members. The resulting outcome was one unified soccer club called USSA-DUFC. The merger allowed the club to field multiple teams in each division. In January 2014, the club completed it's merger and renamed itself Southland FC.This newly united power allows the club to create superior teams and compete against top level clubs that was not possible before.
