Welcome to the LOUYAA field hockey program.  Our goal at LOUYAA field hockey is to coach players at every skill level of the sport and encourage great teamwork, good sportsmanship and a passion for the game.

 LOUYAA Field Hockey Spring Clinic 2024

This spring, we will be offering a 5 week Spring field hockey clinic for grades 3rd through 8th on turf fields throughout Frederick. The clinic will be offered to all skill levels. 

The clinic will focus on skills and drills with some scrimmages (but will not include games).  Players will be divided into coaching groups by their grade (3/4, 5/6, 7/8) and ability so each player is challenged to reach their full potential.

Grade Levels: 3rd through 8th grade
Time: 8:30 am - 10:30 am

April 13, 20, 27 May 4, 11

Location: Turf fields throughout Frederick County

Field Hockey Equipment Needed:
 outdoor stick
 mouth guard
 shin guards (either soccer or field hockey guards are fine)

Stick Measurement:
To determine field hockey stick size, measure in inches, from your child’s hip bone to the bottom of their foot.

LOUYAA Field Hockey Spring ** GOALIE **  Clinic
We are offering small group training during two of our Spring Clinic dates.   The groups will have no more than 4 goalies.  

 Goalies can register for one (1) session or both.  Registration fee is per session your goalie attends.  *IF your goalie is still young and not specialized as a "full time" goalie (meaning he/she also plays on the field), he/she can register for the Spring Clinic and attend the goalie session at no additional cost. But you must still "register" for the goalie clinic for planning purposes.

 Grade Levels: 3rd through 8th grade 
Location:  Ballenger Creek Park, Chuck Foreman Turf
Time: 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Dates: April 13 and April 20

 GOALIE ONLY Registration Fee: $40 per session  (NO Fee if paid and registered for the Spring Clinic)

 Field Hockey Equipment Needed:

 full goalie gear/stick (can borrow if you don't have)
 mouth guard

FREE Field Hockey "Try It Nights"

 Come out to LOUYAA Field Hockey "Try It Night".  We are holding two, one hour clinics intended for brand new players interested in seeing what field hockey is all about before signing up for the fall season.  Come to one session or come to both.  COME GIVE IT A TRY....

Intended For: Entering kindergarten - 9th grader this coming fall 
Location: Oakdale High School- 5850 Eaglehead Dr, Ijamsville, MD 21754 
Dates: 
Tuesday, May 28th 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.* Aux Turf behind the school
Monday, June 3rd 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.* Main Stadium
Equipment Needed: Hockey stick, mouth guard  (and shin guards if you have them).  
This clinic will be RAIN OR SHINE!
