Girls Director Rob hill said "It was a really exciting week for the 03 Premier team going to Presidents Cup in Norco California. The girls played some very intelligent soccer, they played with passion and purpose and they had fun doing it! It was great to see them back to their old ways, no pressure and just having fun being a team. They performed very well on the attacking front scoring 20 goals and on the defensive end only conceding 2. The goals were shared among 6 players, with 3 of them making the top 4 scorers at the event, but it was a real team effort. We had three 04 Premier players guest play with the team, Sam Wind, Maggie Avey and Afton Rasco made a big difference to the team and really helped the team succeed. Winning this event was a first for Idaho Rush girls and it was great to see them continue to improve, develop and a fitting way to end my time with them as a coach and to hand them over to Liz (Ruiz) where they will continue to thrive and flourish"!
