2020 GENERAL COACH INFO:
Registration Ends: Feb 10
Draft/Team Placement: Feb 13 (at B. Feeheley Photography Studio - 2942 East Oak Street)
Each head coach can enter the draft with a maximum of 3 children. Example: 1 coach’s kid, 1 assistant coaches kid & 1 sponsor/assistant coach’s kid. If you choose to come in with 1 child, you will draft in the 1st round in the instance that the other team/teams already have 3 children.
Sponsorship Forms & Payment Due: Feb 17
If you have a preferred sponsor, let an officer know ASAP.
Practicing & Fundraiser Begins: week of Feb 17
A practice schedule will be provided by the league for the Jena town fields but you have the option to practice elsewhere (Fellowship, Nebo, Ward 10, etc) anytime you wish starting Feb 17.
Season Opening Day: March 14
Games Begin: week of March 16
Each team will have one game per week, possibly 2. If there are ANY dates we need to avoid, they must be presented at the draft. If you cannot be at a game, your assistant will step in your place. If you don’t have enough players to complete a game, you are encouraged to ask a player from the division below you to fill in (must play the outfield). Beyond these circumstances, a missed/cancelled game will be considered a forfeit. There will be no rescheduling of games other than due to weather. All teams must play a minimum of 12 completed games to help ensure that players are eligible for all stars.

Who provides the the teams jerseys?
The league provides each player with a jersey and pair of softball pants for regular season play along with 2 coaches t-shirts per team.
If I choose to sponsor, which type of sponsorship do I need to have a team?
The Dream Team sponsorship ($350) provides you a team and banner.
Do sponsors need to provide trophies?
No, our local league provides individual player and all star trophies.
