Sierra Madre Pony is an affiliate of PONY Baseball (Protect Our Nation’s Youth) and a Non-Profit Organization that serves its  players and their families in Sierra Madre, California and the surrounding cities of San Gabriel Valley. Our mission is to help players build on foundation of inclusiveness, competitiveness, and structure.  Sierra Madre Pony not only creates great baseball players, but also great contributing members of our community.


What is now known as Hal Dapper Memorial field is  home to Sierra Madre Pony Baseball.  53 years ago, Hal Dapper recruited some families and together they built a perfect mountain side baseball field.   Now in 2022, SM Pony continues to be a milestone in many baseball players lives.  The legacy continues to grow.
