COACHING REQUIREMENTS
All coaching requirements MUST be met in order coach at North Howell Little League. No one will be permitted to coach without completing the process below. All coaches must send an E-mail to
[email protected] with proof of Finger Print, Background Check and Safety Video. Please read below for more information.
1. Finger Prints: All coaches must be current with finger printing. Please check the following two websites to make sure you are not expired:

If your name is not on either of the lists above YOU MUST get fingerprinted to coach at North Howell. Go to the following website to schedule an appointment: https://uenroll.identogo.com/workflows/2F1J3Y. Use the following contributors case # N11008.
2. Background Check: To initiate the background check, yo must first register for the Spring 2024 Season as a volunteer/coach. Little League requires a background check. We will submit your name and email address and you will receive an email from JD Palatine in which you will need to follow the directions to complete the background check. We will use the E-mail you supplied during volunteer registration and submit the background check on your behalf. Please make sure you use a valid E-mail address or you will not receive the E-mail from JD Palatine.
3. Safety Video: You are required to complete the BASE Compliance: Abuse Awareness for Adults at the following website https://usabdevelops.com/my-account/certs. Please register on the site (if needed), go to the Education tab, scroll down to courses and then chose BASE Compliance. From there, register and take the course Abuse Awareness for Adults. Please take a screenshot of your certificate and send to [email protected].
4. Mandatory Training of AED Device: Coaches are are required to attend a training on how to use the AED Device which North Howell Little League has onsite. The training will take place at the coaches meeting in March. You will not be allowed to coach without this training.
