Save the Date - Player Evaluations Feb 3 & 4

Good afternoon GFBLL Families,

*If you have already read the previous e-mail and signed up for an evaluation slot, please feel free to disregard*

Please read this e-mail in its entirety for important Evaluation Weekend Information!

Per the GFBLL By-Laws, Evaluations are required for any players who wish to be considered for a Draft Division. Drafted Divisions are A - Majors for Baseball and Softball. T-Ball Players do not need to be evaluated, unless your intention is to have them play-up to A Division.

Evaluations will be held on Saturday, February 3 and Sunday, February 4 at Kettle Run High School, 7403 Academic Avenue, Nokesville, VA in the Auxiliary Gym. There will be no alternative day for evaluations.

Parking is easiest in the Bus Loop and enter via the side door.

All players wishing to play in a Draft Division must be evaluated in order to be placed on the Draft Sheet. If a player is unable to attend evaluations, the player will receive a default draft score as determined by the GFBLL Board, however we highly encourage everyone to attend to be evaluation in order for teams to be drafted fairly.

Coaches will then proceed through the Draft process for teams on the following weekend.

Important Reminders:
- Please have your player bring their glove, bat and batting helmet to evaluations. We will have a few spare batting helmets at evaluations if player's do not have their own.
- Parents are not allowed in the Gym during the Evaluation Process unless they are a registered Team Manager and/or Assistant Coach. Board Members will be leading the groups back and then bringing them back out upon completion. Please do not worry your players are in good hands for their evaluation time block.
- Please remember the draft process may mean that your player will not be drafted to your requested Coach and/or Team.
- As per Little League and Local By-Laws, all Majors division teams will remain intact unless the player decides to re-enter the draft. If you wish to re-enter the draft, you must inform the Player Agent before or at evaluations. All players must still attend the evaluation to determine how the division is drafted.

Each Player will need to sign-up for an evaluation spot using the SignUp Genius Link Below. Please put your Player's Name as the Sign-Up name. The time slots are twenty minutes long for ten players. Each time slot is labeled for a specific
division; please sign up for your players respective division.

If you have requested to play-up or play down to a specific division, please sign-up for the division you are requesting to play in for the season.
