Volunteer Opportunities for 2024 Cheer Season
Registration for the committees will be available during athletes registration for 2024 cheer season
Old Homes Day Committee: (Aug- mid Sept)
3-5 volunteers needed: Plan for a booth/table at the event ,50/50 Raffle, basket raffles, item sales, - Preplanning/coordination of items and volunteer slots - Pre-sales may be taken in advance of OHD
There will be slots for volunteering to cover the both during the event.
Apple Fest Committee: Date of event Oct 6. (Planning Aug through early Oct)
5 volunteers needed: Communication with Hollis Town Band for planning; Seek donations; Organize apple crisp ingredients; Coord. of supplies and volunteer slots: and more!
If you don't want to be a committee member, there will be volunteer slots for serving, collecting payments and more
Harvest Dance Committee: Oct - Nov
4-5 volunteers needed: Plan dance at minimal expense; Reserve date/time/location/DJ; confirm with the board on all details; Coordinate items for sale - bake sale, dinner, drinks, glow items, raffles; Presales; Advertising/marketing
End of Season Banquet Committee: (Banquet Held Nov or Dec)
3-4 volunteers needed: Plan and coordinate venue, sound system, decorations.
National Coordination Committee: Mid Nov to Dec - (If teams place 1st or 2nd at Regional- they will go to Nationals)
3-4 volunteers to assist with organizing team trip to Nationals in Florida in Dec. It consists of hotel selection, room coordination, transportation and event coordination. Only teams placing First or Second place at Regional will advance.
