All Registrations closes on March 10th 2026.
Early Bird Discount: $10 off when you register by January 31st(automatically applied at checkout)
Late Registration fee of $25 after March 10th

Please register your player(s) in the appropriate division according to their date of birth.  Player team placement for the Spring 2026 season will be determined by the PELL Board of Directors based upon several factors.  These factors include: PELL mandatory safety evaluations, previous coach's evaluations, the Little League softball/baseball age determination charts, and program availability based on interest.

League age for baseball and tee ball is determined by the player’s age on August 31, 2026
League age for softball is determined by the player’s age on December 31, 2025

Our mandatory safety evaluations have changed! Please note the day, and location have been updated! We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please reach out with any questions or concerns!

Mandatory Safety Evaluations will be held 5:30pm-7:00pm at Pomfret Community School(20 Pomfret Street, Pomfret Center, CT) on the following dates: 

March 24th: Baseball 7-9 year olds
March 25th: Baseball 10-12 year olds
March 26th: Softball 7-12 year olds

Players will check in the lobby at 5:30pm. To maintain safety and to help evaluation to run efficiently parents will not be allowed into the gymnasium. Please return to the lobby at 7pm to sign your player out at the end of evaluations. 

**If you have a player currently registered for coach pitch but are planning to come to evaluations please email [email protected] by March 10th so we can have an accurate headcount. 

The following players are required to attend evaluations: 

Any 7 or 8 year old who would like to be considered for minors
All 9 and 10 year olds
Any 11 or 12 year old new to PELL or new to majors
Please keep in mind a child’s current age may be different from their league age. Evaluations are based on league age. 

Our league is completely run by volunteers! Whether you are interested in coaching, helping with concessions, joining the grounds crew, equipment committee or joining the board, the more involvement we have the better program we can build for our community! Volunteers can sign up while registering their child or make a separate account on sports connect. Volunteer requirements can be found under the coaches tab.

Winter workouts are being offered on 3/4, 3/11 and 3/18 in the Pomfret School Field House 6-7:30pm.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy, teamwork, and life lessons that come from playing softball and baseball. We understand that participating in sports can sometimes come with financial challenges, and we’re committed to making sure no family feels left out due to costs.
