Georgetown Baseball 2026 Pitching/Catching School
Sunday nights January 11- March 8 at Georgetown High School
Grades 2-4- 5:00-6:00 PM
Grades 5&6- 6:00-7:00 PM
All sessions will take place in the Georgetown High School upper gym.
Camp is open to players grade 2-6, playing GAA baseball this spring.
Pitchers will learn proper throwing mechanics, routines, stretching, grips, fielding the position, and mental aspects of pitching. Majors pitchers will learn how to hold runners and pickoffs. All pitchers will be given a throwing program to follow each week leading into their spring season.
Catchers will learn techniques and fundamentals from different stances, receiving, blocking, and fielding balls in play. Catchers will also work on the strategy of calling a game and reading hitters.
Cost is $150 for the 9 week course.
All proceeds benefit the Georgetown HS Baseball program.
